Let me see this because I'm already feeling the oscar nom

I was excited until I saw Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro.. Does Hollywood only has 2-3 men that can work with J.Law or what?! The ensemble is getting annoying, so even if her acting might be great, I wouldnt want her to get an oscar nom for that so she realizes she has to move on and finally grow and do other stuff. She's kind of repeating herself.

Bradley has a small role so idk why he gets mentioned as the third name in the trailer ? prob because he's an A list star

anyway the biggest roles here have obviously JLaw AND De Niro who is a movie legend.

so I have no problem with that she's going to work with countless other directors in next three years too

and Russell loves to work with the same actors in every movie.he calls it his family crew

She looks very bland. Same expressionless eyes in every scene when she's supposed to be feeling some sort of emotion. I also think she was horribly miscast. Way too young.

Really excited for this! Feels like ages since we've seen her in a non-franchise film.
I definitely think she'll get an oscar nom for this (praying for a win but depends on the other contenders, would be pretty rare for her to get a 2nd win this early into her career).

I can see her being the Meryl of our generation - getting a nomination for pretty much every film she does.

Another movie with Bradley Cooper?

Meryl gets nominated for embodying completely different characters time after time and is known for perfectly imitating every accent on earth. JLaw gets nominated for playing slight variations of herself every time and her various attempts at American regional accents have been nothing short of godawful. Not a good comparison I'm afraid.

we'll have to see with JLaw, she was the IT-Girl at the movie scene during 2012-2014. I feel right now people are not so hyped about her anymore, so we'll have to see whether she got the talent to keep her star up.

her first nomination was for Winter's bone and she was 19/20 at the time.and she was no IT star back then nnn

Hate her all she wants, but you can't deny her talent.

She mentioned in a lot of interviews they are a combo package. They have good chemistry and they don't wanna not work together. I think it's cute. If I were an actor I'd probably do the same thing.

Im not hating her, I like her very much. Im speaking about her latest selection of roles and the people she works with cause it starts to get repetitive. Thats criticism, not hate. And I doubt she'll get an Oscar for doing the same over and over again. People will realize that after a while. To become this gen's Meryl, she needs to step up her game.

I agree. I watched him in Aloha with Emma Stone and they just didn't click
