Discussion: Do you have any irrational fears?

For example, there were a few episodes of Maury in which people were deathly afraid of really mundane things like pickles, mustard, and cotton balls. Do you have any irrational fears?

My mom and her twin sister (my aunt lol) are scared of cats, they can't even see drawings of them. That's why I never had a cat

I have a slight fear of blood, like I fear that it won't stop coming out and I will die.

I have a similar fear; I can't stand touching wet food. I obsessively rinse every plate and piece of silverware before washing them. If I feel anything in the sink I immediately feel like throwing up.

You know those trash bags? If I put an apple there, even if the trash bag was never used before, I can't just take the apple out cause I feel it is dirty.

and moths...basically any large flappy insect that could potentially land on me.
I can see a picture of them, or see them through a window but once they're actually in the area I have to get away.

I'm Trypophobic, Arachnipobic,and Scared of bats and snakes.

I mean, I'm VERY paranoid about Bats (Rabies).I freeze up when I'm outside and I hear squeaking.

Also, I DON'T like leaving the porch light OFF when I'm out at night.Especially if I live somewhere with Sodium Vapor (read: dark, orange colored) lighting.
