Northeast. New York has too many crimes there.

South by far. The midwest is boring but that's it. Just boring. The Deep South is filthy, the people are trashy, everyone is a walking stereotype, and the inescapable feeling that you're living in an early Lana Del Rey song is just dreadful.

Mess at people voting for the South. It's the most diverse and populous region of the country.

Hell, even the country's capital is located in the South, and then you have other great cities like Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Nashville, Atlanta, Baltimore, Miami, Memphis, Louisville, Charlotte, New Orleans, Jacksonville, Virginia Beach, etc.

It's just amazing how culturally diverse this region is.

The real pits is The Midwest.

And *DEAD* at someone saying that the Rockies are an appealing region. Take away Colorado and some of the metro areas and you really aren't that much better off than somewhere in the rural South.

Some of the nation's LEAST diverse states are in the rockies, and the weather (Amount of Tornadoes, and heat in the summer along with the amount of BONE CHILLING COLD in the winter) make this a surprisingly bad region. Montana is Terrible and Wyoming isn't much better.New Mexico is actually just as down on its luck as the Alabama and Mississippi type states, while Utah is just as, if not, MORE religious than any of the southern states. The South isn't perfect, I'll realize that, but if you take off the Coastal states (barring Alaska), Hawaii, and the metro areas, then the west (particularly the rockies) wouldn't be that great.

Basically every region has its flaws, the best is definitely Northeast and the worst is probably the south.
