honestly, i think amerie is just stubborn. i'm like the biggest amerie stan on here and i think amerie just likes to record music that appeals to HER and only HER. i really think it's her own fault she has all these lackluster songs. WHY R U is amazing to me, i adore it. but red eye just doesn't cut it for me. does she want to flop again? tell me u love me isn't all that great either. dear john is just okay to me.

i love amerie for her creativity and wanting input in all her music but sometimes i just want her to record a song that is A HIT and is MAINSTREAM. she needs another 1 THING! i'm just so frustrated with her and this IN LOVE & WAR era. WHY R U leaked in may and she still hasn't promoted it enough. no performances or anything. just random radio interviews. it's NOT enough.
