Why/How's Xtina a legend?
In this Is Christina Aguilera a Legend? poll thread (here - http://atrl.net/forums/showthread.php?t=770234) ya'll stated the truth that Xtina's in fact a legend. But in the linked thread most of ya'll just said/voted yes, and nothing more. Here's your chance to explain the yes answers: Why/How's Xtina a legend?
Note: ATRL already spoke (in the last thread), so no disagreements of bias in this thread stating Legend X isn't a legend or something stupid in this thread please.

But it's a 50/50 split between people that answered "Yes" to her being a legend and those that said otherwise that in thread you linked...

For starters, her name is Legend X.
She became a legend when she emerged out of the floor to sing "A Man's World" @ the grammy's.
Her title as "Voice of this Generation"..
The youngest artist on RS "100 Greatest Singers Of All Tiime"..

Because she's got one of the best singing voices of all time, is respected by all of the GP, has true artistry, and has made one of the most iconic songs of the 2000s (Beautiful), is helping to find new talent, and has made countless brilliant songs (I'm OK, Birds of Prey, Oh Mother, Fighter, Little Dreamer, just to name a few)
She's also an incredible feminist who had done much to challenge double standards about female sexuality as well as their abilities to be forthcoming with their opinions (Dirrty, Can't Hold Us Down) Even when her albums aren't selling well, the GP respects her (ask anyone what they think of Xtina IRL, most say "Amazing voice" not "Lotus flopped"), and they could be selling well if she decided to promote them. She just chooses not to. She does promote singles like Feel This Moment and Say Something, both of which would have FLOPPED without Xtina and that is a fact. Pitbull has never released a single to major success that did not feature a pop girl, and Say Something was flipping without Xtina. So even when her albums do well, she has enough star power to save the songs and allow them to smash. She also has enough talent to have won many Grammys, including one for Say Somethinf last year and the incredibly elusive "Best New Artist" Grammy, over fellow legend Britney Spears no less.
She's also an incredibly powerful, influential role model to many people. Xtina has done a phenomenal amount of charity work. Self-empowerment and building up people's self-esteem are important to her. Xtina is, truly, the complete package. That's why she's a Legend. Great voice, great music, great lyrics (which she's involved in writing), good dancing, great personality, beloved by the GP, still able to pull some success, household name, influential to countless people, and played important roles in various important movements like feminism.

She's managed to stay relevant even with declining sales and fans.

She created her own lane at an early age and influenced/inspired new artists.

Why bring up Pia Toscano? I stanned for her during Idol, but she's entirely irrelevant.

I think she is legendary because of her voice, hits, longevity and ability to reinvent herself.

I don't think she is yet. She's a cemented icon and could get there in some successful eras or so.
