With the first beat of Lucifer, XOV draws you in to his dark pop landscape. Described as ”the lovechild between The Weeknd and James Blake”, the Swedish ”superstar in the making” draws influence from modern Hip Hop, 90s R&B and 80s synth pop creating a heavy, diverse sound unlike anything else that’s out there today.
XOV got his international breakthrough when Lorde asked him to contribute to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Pt 1 soundtrack in November 2014. In January 2015, he released his debut EP “Lucifer”. What I'm about to say might be off-topic, Tricky, while I was searching for XOV I found a thread about male artists being boring that was made here a year ago in which you recommended many obscure artists such as Until The Ribbon Breaks, Raffertie, DNKL, Thomas Azier etc. Thank you once again, they're ****ing amazing

A deluxe will follow late August/early September, with the worldwide release.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there'll be additional tracks as he tweeted:
"US/UK/AUSTRALIA/SCANDINAVIA will have to wait til end August/beg September for the deluxe edition. I've put something very special in there for keeping you waiting"
