Since The Voice's premiere on Channel Nine last month, tension between judges Delta Goodrem and Jessie J has bubbled and brewed below the show's shiny red surface, threatening to spew over with every turn of a chair.
The in-fighting came to a dramatic crescendo on Sunday night when an irate Delta declared she was sick of the English singer's tough love for contestants and stormed off stage.
Jessie, it seemed, had finally pushed Delta's big red button.
"I'm over this ****. I'm out," Delta said, ripping out her ear piece and storming off with several production staff in tow after Jessie dressed down one young contestant.
The Australian singer said she was could no longer sit by and watch artists "be embarrassed on stage".
"I think I've had enough of the tough love. I want to be someone who wants to encourage people's dreams," Delta said later in the program.
The argument between the successful women comes less than a week after Jessie controversially encouraged a contestant to choose Joel and Benji Madden over Australia's sweetheart if he wanted a better career.
The resulting hour of television was nothing short of uncomfortable, with Delta declaring she was "furious" and shot Jessie death stares to make Foreign Minister Julie Bishop jealous.
"I'm going to kill you," the Innocent Eyes singer said, pointing a menacing finger at her.
Context: one of the auditionees sang "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" while trying to sound exactly like Marilyn Monroe, Jessie said that she did well but should focus on building her own personality and voice instead of imitating someone else's. Delta disagreed, said "it's entertainment!!!!", interrupted Jessie trying to justify her statement, then chucked a little hissy fit, walked up to hug the contestant, then stormed off set.
This isn't shocking from Delta tbh. She's always been obnoxious, attention seeking and annoying over the entirety of The Voice AU. If there is a "feud", it's all one-sided because the first thing Jessie was nothing but apologetic for upsetting her.

So Delta acting like a cry baby, because Jessie actually did her job as judge/coach

So Jessie was doing her job but of course ATRL will side with Delta.
