Britney Spears
Britney Jean Spears (born December 2, 1981) is an American singer and entertainer. Born in McComb, Mississippi and raised in Kentwood, Louisiana, Spears first appeared on national television in 1992 as a contestant on the Star Search program, and went on to star in Disney Channel's television series The New Mickey Mouse Club from 1993 to 1994. In 1997, Spears signed a recording contract with Jive, releasing her debut album ...Baby One More Time in 1999. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 , and established her as a pop icon and "bona fide pop phenomenon", credited for influencing the revival of teen pop in the late 1990s. Her next three albums also debuted at number one. In December 2008, her sixth studio album, Circus, was released.
According to Zomba Label Group and Sony BMG, as November 2007 Spears has sold over 83 million records worldwide. In addition, she is ranked as the eighth best-selling female recording artist in the U.S. with 32 million sold albums certified by the RIAA, and is currently the fifth best selling artist act of the decade in the country, as well as the top selling female artist. Spears is also ranked by Forbes 2009 issue as the 13th most powerful celebrity with over $35 million dollars in earnings this year.

Christina Aguilera
Christina María Aguilera (born December 18, 1980) is an American pop singer and songwriter. Aguilera first appeared on national television in 1990 as a contestant on the Star Search program, and went on to star in Disney Channel's television series The New Mickey Mouse Club from 1993–1994. Aguilera signed to RCA Records after recording "Reflection"[1] for the film Mulan. She came to prominence following her debut album Christina Aguilera (1999), which was a commercial success spawning three number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100. A Latin pop album, Mi Reflejo (2001), and several collaborations followed which garnered Aguilera worldwide success but she was displeased with her lack of input in her music and image.
After parting from her management, Aguilera took creative control over her second studio album Stripped (2002),[4] which received mixed reviews and produced substantial sales. The second single, "Beautiful", was a commercial success and sustained the album's sales amidst controversy over Aguilera's sexual image.[5][6][7] Aguilera's third studio album Back to Basics (2006), included elements of soul, jazz, and blues music, and was released to positive critical reception. Her fourth studio album is tentatively set for release in November 2009.
Aside from being known for her vocal ability, music videos and ever-changing image, musically, she includes themes of dealing with public scrutiny, her childhood, and female empowerment in her music. Apart from her work in music, she has also dedicated much of her time as a philanthropist for charities, human rights and world issues. Aguilera's work has earned her numerous awards, including four Grammy Awards and one Latin Grammy Award, amongst eighteen nominations. She has become one of the most successful recording artists of the decade, selling more than 42 million albums worldwid

Christina Aguilera.
Pop "royalty" should at least have a good voice to start with.
PS. Britney is gonna win this, almost all the Xtina stans have been banned and I'm the only hater that speaks his mind.
So I guess this is screwed

Britney Spears is the PRINCESS OF POP. I don't think voice is what matters in the music world anymore, Christina may have a better voice than Britney Spears BUT she does not have the same fanbase, and she cant even move properly, also Britney does have stage presence, we cant say the same about Christina, it's funny how she thinks she owns the world when she doesnt.
Britney has sold much more than her, and Britney's tours are always more sucessfull than Christina's, by the way, Britney never flopped, her Greatest Hits sold over 5M, Keeps Getting Worse not even 1M , by the way Christina wanted to start with the electronic vibe but she couldnt, she even copied GaGa (an amateur singer in that time) to try to be original, Britney never copies anyone actually everyone copies her. and that makes Britney better than her and the REAL PRINCESS OF POP.
Should I mention that Britney made a duet with Madonna and Michael Jackson?  LEGENDS

With the question being "who is the better pop princess" the answer is Britney Spears. If the question was "who is the better artist" I would have to side with Christina Aguilera.
