Other Little Mixer Jade Thirlwall, 22, said: “I feel like as long as boybands are all good looking, they’re halfway there.
“For girl groups it isn’t like that. It’s a lot harder to get girls on your side but we have been so lucky we are able to do that. Most of our fans are girls.
“We’re about girls coming together, not about outdoing each other. We know we’re only going to do it by sticking together.”
Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 23, added: “It does get *frustrating. 1D are *obviously a phenomenon.
“At the time they came through X Factor, there were no boybands and they filled that gap. It was like getting five Justin Biebers together and the girls just went mad.”
