Katharine McPhee’s new album has been given the title Long Way From Home, it will be released September 22nd and will have a standard edition CD a CD/DVD combo both available on the same day.

I was like the only person to buy her debut around her. It's an amazing album! Can't wait for this, though it sounds folky/country.
I just wanna know what direction the music will be
!! If it's like singers and standards stuff (which she probably should've been doing the whole time) SHE WILL PUNCH EVERY SINGLE HOOKER OUT OF THE GATE. Nobody ****s with McPhee when she's in her standard/jazz lane. Imagine if she was singing some Norah type stuff?!?!

I'm thinking thats what she's doing as well which would give her her own lane. Hmm..... if there is a way to mix the 2, they should really consider it. She's too pretty to not be in the mainstream and too talented to be ignored.
I need to listen to her debut again..... I only play 2 songs on the regular and thats the bonus track and Love Story.
