Second listen after a while: You hear this song: do you immediately turn or do you let it play?

First listen: "This is my favorite song ever! I can't stop playing this!"
Numerous plays later: Are you still playing your song continuously, has it come to an "every now and then" situation, or have you gotten sick of it by now?

Why am I trying to revive this thread?

It's OCCASIONALLY changed, mainly due to hype and overexposure.

With hype, I'll usually love the song JUST due to hype and fall out with it after a few weeks (Pretty Girls is a good recent example) when I realize it's actually not that good and overplay it. I also sometimes just outgrow some artists music, but I don't usually start hating it.

On the other hand, when a song is overexposed to me, it can grow into a guilty pleasure. I still think it sucks, but it's literally EVERYWHERE so I try to give up on hating it (for example, Problem by Ariana Grande) Otherwise, no. Hate is usually pretty firmly in hate category.

Anything that's in between, on the other hand, is very liable to change depending on my taste, mood, maturity level, etc.
