it should be a billion instead. One of my favorite pop songs of all time tbh, queen of pop, etc, etc.

I love the melody, the lyrics, the concept. But the production is so dated, lazy. Can you imagine if this song were a little bit like 1989/emotion? :O

I dont think it feels lazy/dated at all since there are so many major artists still trying to recrerate this sound and failed.

Simple =/= lazy. Not all great pop songs have to be laced with 80s-inspired synths, as flawlessly executed as 1989 and Emotion may be.
