They gave them power, they gave them money and they gave them weapons because they wanted them to take control of the Deir-Ez-Zor oil fields which were under the government control. Plus they caused wars in the area in previous decades which helped to spread extremism.

The fact is some, not all, americans feel very strongly about that identity and are very patriotic about it, if you attack america you have attacked them in their eyes. It's the same way how if someone was to attack islam muslims would feel like you have attacked them personally, or if you attack israel zionists will feel you have attacked them personally. Well a lot of the things you said are right, but didn't the japanese (after the German and Italian defeats, Japan was useless) and tried to negotiate a peace, it was clear that the use of the atomic bomb, was just to test it (and I am not trying to say that america is bad, well, ehat they did it's actually terrible , but I mean, England did not move a finger for years when Hitler took off in Germany, in war no states have good intentios :/ ).

Irrelevant. Even if the US sells them weapons, which there are justifiable reasons for a.k.a to fight other terrorists, they would gotten them from somewhere else like Russia. Truth is they'd be fighting with sticks and stones if they could b/c of religion and ethnic hate like the have for years. The US didn't cause that.

Mess at you thinking the US sells weapons to fight terrorists. The only reason the US is so invested in weapons and war is for one reason only, MONEY. These companies profit so much off of war and selling weapons, it is big business unfortunately, nothing to do with protecting your freedom.

Again irrelevant. No one is forcing them to fight and create a market for them. The US companies (not necessarily the govt all the time) sell weapons everywhere. The Middle East chooses to use them.
