Rihanna has many hits and they're all very consistent, but there aren't any high points or distinct re-inventions in her music. There are no surprises. Britney going from Baby One More Time to I'm A Slave 4 U to Toxic or Madonna going from Holiday to Justify My Love to Frozen to Hung Up. Rihanna simply can't transpire her image to her music like these artists did.

Maybe not the same sound, but the same tired ass formula. She's not taking any risks musically. It's all soo ****ing calculated with her. Image-wise, yes, she tries out a lot of styles and themes, but on paper when you listen to the songs it doesn't even remotely reflect that tbh.
