True. I believe that would've happened had BTW remained on the same release schedule. But BTW (the single) could've waited a few months to let hype and exposure die down. Had she release it a few months later, like say June/July 2011 rather than February 2011, it would've given her about half a year between eras and I honestly think it would've performed the same because people were still hungry for Gaga.
Although, I think her label wanted to cash in on that success while it was still burning hot. So they stopped an era that was still successful, so they could start another one to capitalize on that hype and success. The BTW era could've went so much more smoothly had they been patient and not rushed Gaga into another full-blown era
