She's right. It's obvious Bill is guilty but in America it's 'innocent until proven guilty'. That's what she's saying.

Listen, Whoopi never claimed he was innocent but she's just commenting on the state we are in in the US currently. There have been case after case in the media recently where it seems the accused is guilty until proven innocent and I believe she's just trying to make the point that it is the other way around.

I agree with this. It really comes across more like she's trying to defend an overall moral standpoint, being treated innocent until proven guilty, over Bill Cosby. She's not saying he didn't do it, she's not saying he couldn't have done it, she's saying she won't join in on any of the criticism until he's been legally proven guilty as the possibility of being found innocent still exists. I can honestly respect that and understand where she's coming from. It's about how she believes we should treat everyone vs. just him
