I'm not 100% sure about management.

But I know when groups or bands sign to a record label they usually sign two contracts. One as a group and one each as a person. This means that if if people leave the band the record company still has their solo music. Infant, the entire band could quit and be replaced by new members, but the band would still be signed to the label thanks to the group contract, even if none of the current members signed it! This actually happened with a UK girl group called the Sugababes, all 3 girls left one at a time and got replaced, the final line-up was completely different to the original group!. Sort of happened with the Pussycat Dolls on Interscope too, except they all quit at the same time, but the label kept the brand and even had an all new line-up for the Pussycat Dolls at one point.

So in the case of Black Eyed Peas I'd assume some changes that happen for the band would happen for their solo careers too. But it could be different, I don't know.
