In terms of actual impact on the music industry, BEYONCE.
In terms of iconicness (??) though 21.

If I am being unbiased
:
Helped open the door for confessional/introspective rap, and helped develop the current styles and trends in R&B. Plus, after Marvin's Room, every rap album seemed to include some type of recorded telephone conversation!

Teenage Dream, lbr. Demi's new single is clearly inspired by it.
Also,
Born to Die
should be up there. Selena's new single is clearly inspired by it.
