why are you making this into a competition? No one thought IO was going to outgross JW. It literally doesn't stand a chance. People were just hoping IO would get a week in at #1 and it looks like it did. JW's numbers are still impressive and superior.
Universal said Jurassic has nothing else to prove. Especially since it beat it its opening week.
True, but I don't know why this is an LOL. Be glad an original film is at least at number 1. This is saving Hollywood, and giving hope to studios to bank on good ideas and art.
Based on last week, I'm guessing it'll end with 12 #1 days. Minions' audience overlap will be too much to handle.

@ Jurassic World being terrible. It's the best one in the franchise.
