I disagree. Madonna comes across as more genuine. She is constantly speaking out about Trans, Female, PoC and Gay rights. She always has.
Her mind & ideologies have always been open minded and ahead of our times.

I believe Madonna was sincere, it's not like it was widely accepted thing to do when she was popular. Though you can tell she regrets she didn't focus on ageism instead.

Gaga not caring about gay rights? While I admit I definitely believe she enforced it more to gain fans in the beginning (there's nothing wrong with that if it's truly how you feel) I believe it was all genuine. As a matter of fact, out of any pop girl I've ever seen talk about it, she is the most dedicated to doing things in her power to work toward equality. To say she doesn't care is transparent.
