"Inside Out" dethrones "Jurassic", blocks "Terminator"
Final numbers for the 4th July week-end are IN
TIGHT Race but Pixar's Inside Out finally hit #1 at the US Box Office during his 3rd week-end
Final week-end numbers:
#1 Inside Out: 29.8 M$ (total: 245.8 M$)
#2 Jurassic World: 29.3 M$ (total: 554.6 M$)
#3 Terminator: 26.8 M$ (total: 42.3 M$)
#4 Magic Mike: 12.8 M$ (total: 27.9 M$)

Disney has yet to make it official, but according to early Monday morning numbers, it looks like the Pixar girl finally did it. After two back-to-back dead-heat weekends, Inside Out took victory from the jaws of Jurassic World and hit the No. 1 spot at the July 4th week-end box office with an estimated $29.8M. That’s not that far from the Dinos, who grossed an estimated $29.3M.
Through five magic mike xxl 10days, Inside Out surpassed Jurassic World as well as wide entries Terminator Genisys and Magic Mike XXL. Those older women tending to family business on Saturday took Sunday for themselves and headed to Magic Mike XXL which posted a 64% uptick ***** from its sluggish Saturday with $4.1M. That’s the biggest Saturday-to-Sunday hike for any film in the top 10 yesterday. The Channing Tatum sequel still ranked fourth, but with a higher weekend take of $12.8M and a five-day cume of $27.9M. Terminator Genisys was up 7% from Saturday with $8.4M and an estimated FSS of $26.8M and a 5-day take of $42.3M.
Inside Out saw a Sunday increase of 10% with an estimated running cume of $245.8M while Jurassic World was up 5% with a current total through its fourth weekend of $554.6M. We’ll post the top 20 chart later today.
