I agree. Different opinions and interests are what make relationships fun .
But that's not what I was talking about . My post was regarding people who not only "don't love" whatever it is that's important to you, but rather emphatically hate it, which they take pride in expressing to you verbally, ironically right after you just said "this person is very important to me".

Stop acting like you know my life better than I do. My dating life is NONE of your business and you making assumptions simply because of the fact I wouldn't want to date a person who ABHORS my fave is kind of ridiculous.

You live your life on the daily, come home, go on your laptop, go on ATRL, see someone bash your fave and the first thing most y'all would do is defend them.

My fave is an important part of me. My date would have to put up with the fact that I listen to Katy Perry songs on replay for hours, if he doesn't like it there's the door.
I don't have a 'fave' and I would not be so shallow as to disqualify someone for not liking an artist that I do like. What kind of question is this? It's like saying I won't date someone if they watch MSNBC.
I am engaged and he knows nothing of the music I like, because he is not really into music himself. The only music he listens to is like rock and roll from the 70s, and it doesn't have any effect on my relationship... I love him for who he is and vice versa, not what we like although we have alot in common in other areas.
