Do you guys not realise how massive 1989 is, especially for this time. You can easily say it's the most successful Era of 2014/2015 without hesitation, whereas if we talk about what the most successful era of 2008 is; there's way too many to decide from.

Sasha was much bigger outside of English speaking countries though
Halo and Single Ladies alone felt bigger and ARE bigger than any 1989 sing, Single Ladies was a MOVEMENT
Sasha also has better accolades (SOTY, an award which SIO failed to win is an example)
