Ricky Martin may not be a Mexican immigrant himself, but he’s showing solidarity with his fellow Latinos nonetheless after Donald Trump made comments claiming that some Mexican immigrants are “bringing crime. They’re rapists.”
Last week, Martin slammed Trump on Twitter for his "hatred and ignorance" and now he's cutting all business ties, including one with The Ricky Martin Foundation, which pays to operate on Trump property in Puerto Rico.
"This decision corresponds to the commitment of solidarity from our founding president to human rights and the Latino community," said Helga García, a spokesperson for Ricky's organization.
Trump is so powerful, it needs something like a movement like this to actually hurt his pocket. Yass.
I think they should completely destroy him( which is gonna be hard), but it would leave a very good message for all the racists and ignorant in this country
