Well, musically it was exceptional. I think the movement and the marketing was groundbreaking.
I'd say they are accurate. It was a media sensation that was looked at as genius in it's way to become a success in a non traditional way.

I mean...good on them for stating this. now i didn't read the verbiage so as long as they are not saying it was an artistic musically innovative groundbreaking work then I can rock with what they said.

youd be a fool to think that movement wasn't groundbreaking. Just because david bowie did it a year prior doesn't mean anything as it's not about who does it first but who makes the most impact.

The impact of this album will live on in pop culture for ever. I mean, it inspired the global release date, and changed the face of feminism.

And I love how they used the word "maverick" a person who refuses to follow the customs or rules of a group. She doesn't follow the rules, she sets her own rules and forces everyone else to follow. A true risk taker.

He lowkey didn't though, he unexpectedly released a song and then the album a while later, which is basically what JT did. He did a good job at keeping it secret, but the difference is that people were checking for Beyoncé whilst they weren't checking for him, as everyone thought he was retired.

They were right that it was groundbreaking, and a great album, but the global release date had been up for discussion anyway, and was chosen because most people get paid at the end of the week, and it most certainly didn't change the face of feminism.
