Because my brain just associates them with women. And hillbillies. Like Cletus the slack-jaweled yokel or the religious kids at the beginning of of 'Mean Girls' who are like "and on the 7th day, God sent Jesus to kill the dinosaurs...and the homosexuals."

You can't really compare fashion from 2 decades ago to today though. Women can experiment with vintage clothes and past fashion, but it's always going to be a bit fem or metro when a guy does it.

I mean, straight men in the 70s wore platform shoes

If I saw a dude walking down the street, I wouldn't be like "well, in the 70s that was normal."

I ****ing haaaate when men wear clothes. But if they must, keep it simple. A fitted, plain, black (or white) t-shirt and jeans. Some nice button-up shirts. Good coats. If you want to wear timbalands or a flannel shirt, fine. But don't go too far out there. Anything too experimental is just a bit too feminine.

I've worn skimpy/revealing Rihanna/Katy Perry/Britney Spears tank tops to the gym though. Gotta let the curious ones know somehow.

I love fems. Just not in bed. If someone wants to wear them while we go get brunch and discuss last night's episode of Australia's Next Top Model, that's fine. But don't expect them to get me in bed.
