The incredibly pretty girl and Goldenrod City Gym Leader Whitney is out, alternatively known as many pokémon fans' recurring nightmare. Whitney is young, snobbish and bratty. She only started battling because it was cool and she was so good she quickly got appointed Gym Leader, also scarring many fans with her skills. She breaks down crying when you beat her and you have to console her for your badge. Honestly she is one of the hardest gym leaders in the franchise for how unprepared you are, I just wish they didn't nerf her in HGSS. This is a really good finish for someone so hated, haters stay losing (to Miltank).
Very divided opinions here. PhreshDiamond needs her to "get into a bath and not get out again", wrong Whitney (topical references). keshaspearsxo thinks she "should've been fat", she already has Mariah on her team, let's not push it. acclegors says "**** this bitch" and jpow adds "she ****ing deserves dead last", well that didn't quite happen. On the other hand, HausofNiko says she "taught me so much about myself, and why I'm patient to this day". Pokémon: always teaching you the important things. MattyTacos stans for her Miltank and Hugamari worships her, "SHOWING ALL U UGLEES THAT NORMAL >>> YOUR LIFE". Well... we'll see. |

Lenora is an archaeologist and rock... oh, I mean normal-type Gym Leader in Nacrene City. She and her husband run a museum and gym hybrid and she's a very lovable leader. Her gym is cool too, it's basic but a step-up from other normal gyms. She fights alongside you against Team Plasma several times, and even though she steps down and gives her badge to Cheren to dedicate time to her studies, she still gives you a fossil if you visit her in B2W2. Fun fact: her artwork was altered, with the apron being taken off, due to racist concerns when it was first released.
She has a big fanbase it seems. PhreshDiamond stanning, "slay mama hunty", HausofNiko living for her Gym and her personality, jpow telling her to "slay that museum", and normal-type super fan Hugamari is preaching, "History-making queen and NORMAL TYPE USER SO ALSO AN ICON". Amen. keshaspearsxo adds that "#normalpokemonmatter".
