And what you said doesn't mean anything........both songs were sent to radios, had a music video and live performance. It's not like AO was the lead single from R8.
Well I can tell you. GaGa releasing basic generic popcorn dance music almost the equivalent of SIO yet still underperforming >>>>>> Rihanna releasing music completely different from her discography. I don't even get why R8 positions are so important. My fave is on her EIGHTH era while yours has already become a distant memory before even getting halfway there. You aren't even allowed to have this conversation with me.
DWUW wasn't basic generic "popcorn" dance music.
Applause's lyrics (and video) weren't made for the GP, as wasn't G.U.Y.'s.

New releases almost always peak higher (on iTunes) than tracks that aren't new (?)
Her last two LPs flopped critically and commercially. Rihanna has quality in her music and visuals and has been experimenting with a less commercial sound.
Those two flops are yet to be outsold by Lana's two LPs so shut the **** up, pathetic bothered trash

Like Lana's first LP that sold over 5 million WW (which is more than both of those flops combined), is well over platinum in the US, and continues to chart? In eight weeks it will be in the all-time top ten of longest charting female albums. Her second major LP was a dark alt rock album that sold 1.4 million WW with no promo. And most importantly, she has high-quality music...something Gaga has lacked since BTW.
