Oh, I hate this type of hypersensitivity about whatever a person says, always trying to turn their statements into some problem or argument. Kim has good intentions.
It reminds me of my Facebook friends making up all these rules about how you can't be an ally for the LGBT unless you jump through this hoop and that hoop, or hyper-analyzing every little word so they can go on some social justice warrior rant.
These comments are fairly troubling, as it raises issues of stereotyping and reducing interracial relationships to ones that are based merely on physical looks and attributes. It reveals the problematic way many people approach the topic of interracial dating that leads to an exoticization and fetishizing of the "other," "foreign" race, pushing it further into marginalization and objectification.
