CONGRATULATIONS! YOUR PARENTS JUST JOINED FACEBOOK. YOUR LIFE IS OFFICIALLY OVER.
So, you finally caved. You've accepted a friend request from your Mom, Dad, crazy Aunt Ida, and your college roommate’s newly divorced mother. Well here's your chance to get back at them for taking away your public privacy.
Email us at: [email protected] because we want to laugh at your Mom’s ridiculous Facebook status and the embarrassing message your Dad wrote on your wall too! If you want your relative to remain anonymous include that in the email.
Family. Can't Facebook with 'em, can't unFriend 'em!
It's soooo embarrassing, my dad and stepmom have one. OMG, I so was tempted to decline the friend request...instead I just put them on limited profile view. lol
I find nothing embarrassing about my parents joining Facebook. They're just as young, unique, intelligent, fun, and entertaining as I am. Only those who have something on there profile that they don't want their mom/dad to see are probably the ones that are skeptical of them joining. Haha
I am far beyond this point--both my grandpa and grandma have joined Facebook and friended me. It's absolutely annoying. I can't decline, but I hate to think about them looking at my profile all the time.
My mom is a member, but she doesn't use it. My dad doesn't give a **** about online social networking, which is great.
