Being raised by same-sex parents - would you mind?
I know it's kind of difficult for most people to imagine having been raised by anyone who they weren't raised by. So trying your best to not compare to whoever you were raised by, assuming that most other [positive] things about how you were raised remained the same throughout your past until now, would you have minded if you had been raised by same-sex parents? Why or why not? If not, would you at least prefer to have been raised by same-sex parents over being raised by a single parent and not knowing another parent?
Also, anybody that was raised by same-sex parents, did you ever feel bothered or strange about it? Did you feel loved and bonded to them?
Um it would have been strange. I can imagine that in the schools I attended, other students would've poked fun at my parents, and that would've been so hard to deal with. Also, I personally like the idea of having both a fatherly and motherly figure around. I'm v traditional in that sense.
AKA: It's not for me, but that's obviously not applicable to everyone.
I appreciate the diversity of male and female roles, and if that same diversity existed in my same sex parents i would be fine.
I would however consider myself deprived if I ended up with two Instagram daddies who have identical hair, beard, muscles, underwear and personalities. That would be developmentally stifling.
I would have a higher self esteem. It would've been great, but at the same time there are still so many close minded people in the world who would've made life harder. So I don't know
I wish I was, my mom is a homophobic dumbass and gay dads/mom obviously would not be homophobic.

Even though my dad is gay, so it's good to have someone around who completely understands me.
I personally would've preferred to be raised by a same-sex couple, yes. I don't know if that would've made my childhood years harder when it comes to other people in school and other places, but I know it would've made me a more confident adult who's wouldn't practically be trapped in the closet at 23.
I probably wouldn't mind. I could see myself being a more open-minded and loving person and wouldn't have the fear of coming out to them. Unlike most straight parents who can be homophobic and unaccepting. I watched YouTube videos on this just today, and nearly all same-sex raised children never thought of their parents any differently and are on the forefront of LGBT rights and equality.

Omg, those r like the weirdest gay couples honestly. Like a lot of them r hot but they don't look real and look disturbing how obsessed they seem with "looks" tbh..
Nope. I wouldn't mind. Perhaps even prefer since my life would be more interesting. I feel like same-sex parents would put in more effort too since they're under more pressure.
Only if they were richer. If not, I'm cool with my hetero parents. Sure being gay would have been easier in a same sex parent household, but my struggles in regards to sexual orientation built strength and resilience, and the ability to lie really well. Those are vital components of my personality so yes, I would mind. Like I said, only if they were richer than my parents now (like I'm talking multi-millionaires, Knowles-Carter household tea).
