There is no such thing as "ageism." The reason these older guys aren't given the time of day is because they're ugly, out of shape, and chasing after guys 15+ years younger than them. In this day and age with the current "dad" fad I think it'd be safe to argue quite the opposite.

Also, using Grindr after 40 is a total turn off.

Well, if you don't age well your 30s might be rough, but once you hit 40 you'll get hit on by all those twinks with low self-esteem who want a daddy. Just make sure you stay relatively fit
