Within a little over a week he's already made himself the epicenter of the Republican primary and he's getting more press than all the other candidates combined. He's #2 in the GOP polling data, for heaven's sake.

He's 3 points from Jeb Bush,and he's going to spin this (on Fox, presumably with Hannity and Coulter cheering him on) as political martyrdom, and the (foolish) conservative base will eat it up.

Good. I know he’s like a real life internet troll and I can easily ignore his lame comments, but I’m tired of it. I’m tired of showing thick skin about derogatory comments on us Latinos. The way Trump worded his comment make it seems that most immigrants from Mexico are rapists and that other ish he said. He saying that they are some that he assumed are good is basically saying there are a few good apples in a basket full of rotten tomatoes. I know Mexico’s government is trash and places in Mexico have drug problems, but come on. Don’t worry, Donald Trump will be fine. He’s rich and only running for president to get this name out and his political statement. This is giving him more publicity. Besides, he probably thinks any publicity is good publicity.

Every time I hear any conversation or news about immigration, I get the chills. I know that immigration is a problem and closing the boarders might solve it, but I just hate the ignorant mindset on immigrants in general esp. Mexicans since most of immigrants are from Mexico and their high criminal rates. Just because the illegal immigrants are not law-abiding citizens, that doesn’t mean they are not human beings either. I understand the frustration tho esp. with the financial and economic troubles in this country.

Let’s face it. He was talking about all of us Hispanics including the ones that were actually born in the USA since he’s ignorant to refer any Latinos/Hispanics as Mexicans since Mexico is our close neighbor. I know people in real life who are like that. Stereotypes. There are other Spanish-speaking countries! Whatever. I’m glad my community banded together to make this happen and also the hosts, performers etc. from pulling out of Miss USA along with Univision end their contract with Miss USA/Miss Universe to make a statement.
