You know people would be slipping gays the pill to turn them straight. It would cause panic in the gay community. You could never trust anything you drink or eat that is prepared for you.

What you're saying is a load of crap. You can't "cure" nature. Medically speaking, there is no difference between heterosexuality and homosexuality except human bias against one as being perceived by man as 'unnatural'. How would a pill be smart enough to know what aspects of sexuality to even get rid of? HOW would it be able to get rid of a vital component of the human experience? How is it going to recognize attraction towards the same sex as an undesirable trait and eradicate that specific trait?

The only "cure" for homosexuality would be a pill that stifles sexuality in general so that you lose your libido and sex drive, and there are plenty of those pills already available today, except its a side-effect, not the main intention.

Fair enough. I think the only qualifier to being promiscuous (or sexually liberated) is being promiscuous. To say that all gay men are, or all straight women are, is prejudiced of both of us. There are promiscuous gay men. There are promiscuous straight women. There are frigid gay men. There are frigid straight women.

It all depends on who they are as an individual imo.
