I decided to look up Paris weather for fun and..... wtf? 35-40 C heat for next 10 days? How is it possible? Madrid clocks 38-40C for the next 10 days

Indiana and many other Midwestern/Eastern states, USA, had absolutely horrible, frigid and snowy past 2 winters and very cool summers. Here in Indiana it never went past 32 C this year

In my experience, Moscow had the most dramatic change of weather. Normal temperature in winter just 20 years ago was around -10C, now it's around 0 C with sleet

Basically, Europe heats up, while Eastern half of USA cools down in recent years

It's horrible. I don't know what's happening. It is like you get a really HOT week and then a NORMAL one and then it rains. It's messed up. Talking about Lisbon, Portugal.

Here in NC, we had BOTH single digit low days AND days where highs were in the triple digits this year. 2015 really is a rollercoaster year.

You'd expect the same from Indiana, but no. The hottest day was only 90F while the coldest was -30F

Sometimes it's raining and sometimes the sun is out and it's hot then after several months it will get cold and start snowing but then after a few more months the snow melts and it gets warm again.

Noticing it for a while now. There were days in NYC last December when it would be 30-40 degrees. If i recall it was much colder in years past. It's also gotten warmer here a lot faster than usual. The entire situation is inevitable though. People don't care enough and we'll just have to go with the flow (as disastrous as it might be for some people.)

This is about climate, not yearly weather.

I kinda feel relieved that this is not just an issue here, but I guess that in the end I'm even more worried that this is happening all over the world.

Back in April and May, in Mexico City we reached almost 30 C and it was truly horrible. Now, it's mostly raining everyday and even in my local city, it gets cold.

I read somewhere that this is due to a combination of two climate effects, one of them El Niño. Can't recall correctly all of the information, but it basically said that at least in Canada winter wasn't happening.
