Besides the few pop girls who dance (Beyonce, Ciara, Tinashe, Britney and Janet) pop girls don't dance anymore. It used to be apart of the pop star requirement in order to have the full package. Is dancing a thing of the past for pop music?

It's kinda sad, pop girls used to have the biggest shows, now it's all about shocking the audience.... Sigh.

idk but it's really making me miss award show performances from the early 2000s. performances always feel bigger when they have a choreographed dance number included imo.

Just because she's not a "real dancer" doesn't mean she doesn't make an attempt to move during her performances.

I just don't think it's a big deal. People care more about songwriting and playing instruments which I think are more important. Most big pop stars have backing dancers anyway so it doesn't matter if their not dancing as long as they sing live.
