People pulling these album reviews in some desperate bet to banalize Pitchfork's quote albums are subjective. You can like them or you can not like them. That doesn't mean you can't admit that Ciara has been releasing the same song since 1,2 step and Rihanna has been evolving in her sound since, hence the comment on her superior creativity.
