Jack, please read every post before replying. My statement was true, I just forgot to mention "in the top ten" to which CarCAL22 corrected me. Only 3 albums have accomplished the feat of staying the top 10 of the Billboard 200 for over a year.

Michael Jackson Will Also Be a Factor
July 1, 2009
Don't stop 'til you get enough.
That could well be the word for record buyers again this week, as those mourning Michael Jackson continue to turn to his music seeking comfort for their grief.
It remains to be seen if Jackson can keep up the torrid pace, but among the newcomers, Sony Music's Now 31 will be the top debut of this week's releases, with between 140-150k, according to one-day sales from retailers who were also moving whatever copies of Off the Wall and Thriller they still had around their stores.
Arista Nashville's Brad Paisley is up next, with his latest, American Saturday Night, looking at selling between 120-130k.
Atlantic's Matchbox Twenty leader Rob Thomas' second solo album, Cradlesong, appears headed for the 100-110k range.
The week's real pleasant surprise is Wilco's newest, the aptly titled Wilco (The Album), on Nonesuch, which is now slated for a total between 90-100k, which would be their most impressive debut to date.
Roadrunner's Massachusetts metalcore band Killswitch Engage return with a self-titled effort, their first since 2006's As Daylight Dies, which could do as much as 50-55k.
Rising Def Jam/IDJ R&B star Jeremih sees his self-titlede debut with 45-50k, thanks to the strength of the multi-format smash, "Birthday Sex."
Atlantic Brooklyn rapper Maino's debut, If Tomorrow Comes..., will bow with between 18-23k, while Def Jam/IDJ Florida hip-hop newcomer Ace Hood's Ruthless appears headed for the same sales territory.
The market was down 8% vs. last week, down 19% vs. same week last year and still down 15% year to date.

YOUR JULY 4TH WEAKEND CHART PREVIEW: Six of the top seven titles on next week's SoundScan chart will be debuts. The Top 10 on the HITS album chart will include these six debuts, along with three Michael Jackson titles. Of course, with all the variables surrounding M.J. sales—including the wall-to-wall TV coverage—as well as the holiday weekend, it’s hard to say for sure what the leader board will look like until Monday. But we’ll give it a shot anyway:
* Now 31 (Sony Music) 140-145k
Thriller (Epic) 120-125k
* Brad Paisley (Arista Nashville) 120-125k
* Rob Thomas (Atlantic) 105-110k
* Wilco (Nonesuch) 100-105k
Essential Michael Jackson (Epic) 95-100k
Number Ones (Epic) 75-80k
Black Eyed Peas (Interscope) 60-65k
* Killswitch Engage (Roadrunner) 55-60k
* Jeremih (Def Jam/IDJ) 45-50k
Jonas Brothers (Hollywood) 35-40k
Eminem (Shady/Aftermath/Interscope) 30-35k
Dave Matthews Band (RCA/RMG) 30-35k
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (WB) 30-35k
Lady Gaga (Interscope) 30-35k
Kings of Leon (RCA/RMG) 30-35k
* Denotes debut
You may now return to pondering the Ariza-for-Artest trade. (7/3a)

No Jeremih will be around and Maino probably will be too, but Ace Hood is through already.

Seriously, whoever keeps buying the Now! series, is only building a collection. There's something called iTunes.
