After reading the MIA tweets thread I'm trying to figure out what exactly was the problem?
She was clearly stating that black gays must have mixed emotions because there is still racial tension going on in America and then on the other hand Gays can get married. But here you go:
"woo she's taking our moment away to talk about black issues again". You mean to tell me that an individual can't be excited about gay marriage and then go right back into talking about what happened in Charleston, Baltimore and Ferguson? They're both current issues to some black LGBT people. She wasn't comparing the two she was talking about intersectionality and I feel like some of you pastey girls are so into your own little world that you forget about that.
No **** it's not a competition but don't come at me with "we hanging ourselves, getting kicked out our homes by our parents, and gay bashed".

You okay? We know what you're going through bby, are you forgetting that we're gay too? Not to mention you shove the "Black Community is 'most' homophobic" mess down our throats but who is actually facing that homophobia night and day? Black gays and god bless you if you're West Indian. Then on top of that some of us that live in a certain area or that can pass as straight have to worry about getting profiled/gunned down by an officer or racist. It can be a very stressful time for some that feel pressured from both communities to "pick a side" but caught in the middle because neither side is 100% supportive of the other.
I don't understand what's the issue guys...
