I think Selena just wanted showcase her new vocals with this video. She just want to prove herself as an artist, she isn't worried about it being a big hit. Or she wouldn't have released a slow song in the summer.
But she already did that with THWWIW so I don't understand why making a video like this and without the feature, specially in the beginning of her new contract with Interscope I still love the song tho but the video ... I'm really disappointed
I'm just really disappointed that she didn't serve us a great music video like she usually does, this video could have been sultry and she still could've proven herself as an artist. It was extremely anti-climatic and each scene was so choppy. I still LOVE the song and I'm not too worried about its success because I know it'll be her highest charting single yet and it'll have longevity but I mean the music video looked extremely lazy. Either way I'm still pumped about what else she has in store for us this era and hopefully her next videos will be of quality.

For people complaining about fans being dramatic, it's because the video was supposed to help the song but it did the exact opposite. Like someone pointed out, the GP is not smart enough to realize the (trash) version in the video is not the official version they'd be purchasing if they purchased it. A lot of people will hear the song for the first time when they watch the video and they probably won't be impressed with the song.

Oh true, got it now. Although some are acting as the song's run is over. The airplay will increase and there will be performances.
It looks like it's part of the same scene during the "trust me I" part of the song where she's got a piece of glass in front of her.. could be wrong though
I still love the song tho but the video ... I'm really disappointed
Plus, the video isn't on iTunes which is odd for Selena so... 
It's right up there with C&GI.
