Just finished listening to the album, her best body of work by far. My favorites were Late To The Party, Pageant Material, Somebody To Love, Family Is Family, and Cup of Tea. But I loved the whole album from start to finish.
She slaying. I hope she gets #1 in US and at least top 10 in my country (UK).
Pageant Material deserves to be recognized!

1. the way she perfectly crams in "fake a couple conversations, make the necessary rounds"
2. the way she changes 'world' in "the world can wait" from 1 to 2 syllables in the second and third choruses
“The people that are going to like me are going to like me. This isn’t a tele-marketing campaign, this isn’t McDonald’s. We don’t have to have everyone be a fan. People are either probably going to love it or hate it, and that’s fine! Fame is not something that I’m like reaching for. It’s respectable music; good songs. I want a long-lasting career, and fame is just a side-effect of that—I want to maintain a sane life as well.” http://www.pastemagazine.com/article...her-crazy.html
This album is phenomenal. She's so brave to stick to her unique sound. Her songwriting is amazing, she's just one of a kind, I hope the album has longevity.
