Touring was never in her radar. She said herself that she didn't like it back then. It's not like she gave it little attention, she gave it no attention. In everything she's actually involved in (Music, Movies etc.), she doesn't put one over the other so it's silly to call her huge music career a side project.

A-list celebrities who are primarily musicians obviously don't fit the bill here, no matter how much you want them to

This thread is more for 'music as a 2nd career' type celebrities (Jared Leto, etc.) and flop acts who somehow manage to always keep their names out there (Rita Ora, etc.).

If we're going to name Beyoncé, Gaga, Madonna, etc. then the thread title needs to be changed to 'artists who brand themselves beyond their music.'

Pretty much, and the fact that none of them are backing up their claims and ignoring receipts posted tells us all we need to know.lol

Remember, 30 Seconds To Mars was very successful and well known, and Jared Leto has only just really started acting. I'm sure it's generational, but people in the 20s know him more as a singer and teens probably just think of him as an actor. I don't think he fits there though.
