She can do what she wants, it's just my opinion. I have more respect for celebrities who use their level of fame to raise awareness.

Yeah, I agree. Bey has done more for feminism than Taylor has. But it was the GP *cough tumblr* who chose Tay as a feminist icon and threw these crazy ass expectations on her. You will actually find that most women of colour get their feminist activism discredited or just flat out igorned, sadly.
Taylor still does more than most pop stars and speaks out on these issues, even more than my own fave.
Just see it in the big picture and ask yourselves WHY is everyone suddenly turning on her? It's much more deeply rooted and has the blueprint for most pop girl eras which come to a crash, ending with the GP & media turning on their once beloved sweetheart.
