The "press" is always trying to sensationalize stuff. I think it's as simple as Bobby did not want to let go for his own personal and probably heartfelt reasons. I think if there was anything beyond that, if there was a hint of it ... Whitney's family would have been spreading it out like wildfire. Ditto Bobby onto Whitney's family.

My mother went into the hospital, she was talking the first day and by the third day she was on life support. The doctors told me that once my mother crashed she would basically be a vegetable if they brought her back in the slight chance they could bring her back. She was on a lot of medication and support for blood pressure and oxygen that last day. I told them to let her go "peacefully" once she crashed despite the support she had (for blood pressure and oxygen). I still wrestle with that. Whatever choice is made, it's not a easy choice for a family.
