This video is red meat for her base and pandering to the LGBT community. Maybe it takes an outsider to see it.

She has no true history of ever supporting gay marriage she has said over and over it is a state issue before she 'evolved' but won't explain to anyone what made her change her mind. In fact she refuses to use the word change when it comes to her position on gay marriage. She got in to a testy back and forth with an NPR interviewer about that. I wish I could remember who it was. I am sure someone knows the interview.

It's a pretty simple question, you supported DOMA and thought gay marriage was a state issue now you don't what made you change your mind... She get's all defensive and awkward with her answers. She thinks it's a trap. It isn't a trap what made you change your mind Hillary? Biden answered the question pretty damn well and convincing when asked about his evolution on gay marriage.

Hon. she isn't Rick Santorum.. And newsflash kiddo.. Pretty much everyone ignored Gay Rights up until recently. If you are going to get on Hillarys back then you have many more to jump upon. Hillary has been an advocate for many years now and your going to try and undermine that? LOL

Rick Santorum, even being wrong, at least articulates his position. So I don't agree with Rick but I know exactly where he stands. I can't say the same with Hillary. See the difference? I'm guessing you don't or you choose not to see that Hillary has not actually answered the question. For some reason she isn't comfortable talking about her recent change.

Rationality is not the point. His position is clear if you don't think so I don't know what to say. I know where he stands based on his beliefs no matter how misguided he is.

It's what she is say now that matters and what she is saying now is nothing of substance. She won't state why she changed her position. She is playing politics with it.

So all she has to say is over the past 20 years, I met many LGBT people and became friends with a lot of them and after many long talks I became aware of their struggles and changed my mind and now believe... However she can't even say that, why? Because she will not admit she ever was against it 20 years ago and we all know she was. She is playing with words, she evolved but didn't change. She is not honest at worst, she is afraid to for some reason at best.

Hillary and bill have both said its because of Chelsea and meeting her gay friends that changed their minds. **** outta here

Basically this. I'm pro LGBT marriage/rights/etc. but I just don't get the impression that Hillary actually cares. It really feels like she changed her stance and is saying this for the sake of getting voted in, and then will promptly do literally nothing to help them out once President. That's pretty much the basic definition of pandering. And she's a politician so that's what she's good at.

Not to mention there isn't a whole lot she can do expect give speeches supporting it as President she has no power to directly change anything. The courts are dealing with it now it's out of everyone's hands. I am hoping the SC just approves it like the did Obamacare today. Take this issue off the table once and for all.

Even though I tend to be a states rights person, I grow tired of this constant fighting and it's really the will of the people now so let's get it done.

I also honestly just do not see any sort of constitutional reason to deny it as well. The arguments I've seen are literally "It's not natural" (Definite what natural is, who yo are to determine what is natural, and display how it fails to fit this definition. Also account for the fact that different species have different definitions of "natural," like it's natural for some female spiders to kill their mates after sex, but I'd HOPE that's not natural for humans ) or "Bible" (First Amendment, sis)

You haven't evolved in any of your beliefs? I find that hard to believe. She's been an ally since the early 2000's. And my point was name one other candidate that has always been 100% for gay rights. Thats right.. you can't . And yes she has admitted her opinion has evolved

I am slow to evolve I am a Conservative but I do get around to it. I was never actually anti-gay, I just never gave it much thought. Until I started meeting gay people at work and my nephew came out and then I started to open my eyes to the problems they faced. So my change was from indifference to supporting.

You are completely missing my point it has nothing to do with other candidates or what their positions were in the early 2000's or if anyone was 100% for gay rights.

Yes she said she has evolved. I never claimed anywhere that she didn't say that. I said she won't use the word change. To evolve is to change but in the interview she fought the lady and accused her of trying to trap her in to using the word change. I find it odd she is afraid of the word change.
