BY FAR the most accepting of Central America. They agree that gays should have recognition and the basics like joint healthcare, pensions, etc but marriage and adoption are a long way off. It's also the only country in the Western Hemisphere to ban IVF after their Supreme Court outlawed it in 2000. The country has been sued twice, but still hasn't changed the law and it seems like it's going to be an uphill climb for the government.
