If Apple Music takes off, then Spotify will be struggling. Their only advantage will be the Freemium tier. And how long are the labels gonna allow that, if Apple Music becomes the dominant streaming service?
If Daniel Ek picks a public spat with Taylor right now, he would be foolish tbh. She is currently being lauded by the media and industry as an advocate of music creators rights. If he took a shot at her, given his background as a destroyer of music creator rights, then it would be look bad for him.
However if Spotify starts losing market share massively to Apple Music, then he might become desperate, so who knows.

i don't care about the industry, they don't buy her music, i care about the public in general, their opinions get a lot of coverage and they make her look as money hungry, you don't mess with people's money, they love their coins more than Taylor.

It will be OK! We survived 2013. Taylor is more popular than ever. This week has also enhanced that due to all the glowing press from everyone.

2013 was about Harry Styles, no adult care about him. This is a serious issue, big coverage on CNN and business publications, not a second-rate tabloid, one bad step and this can backfire. remember "The road to hell is paved with good intentions".

the photographer thing was a bit of a mess tho, it got some negative press on DM
but overall this has probably been the biggest week of her career in terms of impact and influence
