People seem to be forgetting that P!nk was the first of her generation to have a stadium tour. Funhouse tour at the time was the biggest female tour in history behind those by Madonna and Cher. She opened doors for everyone in Australia; she pushed boundaries in terms of the number of shows. Everyone has extensive Aussie tours now.

as of right now - taylor, madonna and katy although katy's touring peak will always remain late 2014 with the prismatic world tour, there is no other right answer. pink's tour was two years ago so this is not recent.

i would say beyoncé but i doubt she would've grossed so much money if she was touring as a solo artist plus her solo tour happened two years ago.

as in general - madonna and gaga have the biggest revenue and after the 1989 world tour Taylor will be considered a touring legend just as well. im curious for gaga's 4th world tour she can become the strongest touring pop girl after madonna if she is able to bring her total revenue to 700/800 million dollars in her early 30s but this all really depends on how good 2016 will be for her.

celine is a very strong touring figure but she doesnt tour. its a shame, i dont know about rihanna - DWT was successful but she has to have at least two or three successful world tours in order to be considered a touring legend.
