(CNN)South Carolina Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham will call Monday for the removal of the confederate flag from state grounds, a source familiar with the decision told CNN.
Graham, a 2016 presidential candidate, will make his announcement during a press conference with South Carolina's Republican governor, Nikki Haley, at 4 p.m. Monday.
After he was the first one to say the Charleston shooting was an attack on religious freedom and not a hate crime? Trying to save face for this election.
dd @ the jig being up with these Republicans.
There are some still clinging, but for many of 'em, the death of a senator was too hard to excuse
Mess, but as long as that trash gets taken down
I don't think the heavy rooted racism in the south will end until this ridiculous praise for a treasonous and losing confederacy (founded and supported entirely on the basis of one race having the right to own another) is brought to a heavy-weighted end. The confederate flag should be looked with disdain and disgust, much like the Nazi flag.
