Reading the Quran in English is such a difference experience. Finally understanding what I've been reading all these years.

When I was younger my mum would go AWF when she saw that I'd skipped tarawih . It doesn't feel as long anymore though.

I was so bad. I hated it that much that in the middle of the prayer I'd pretend to go to the toilet but really I'd go out and sit in the car (my dad would give me the keys) and time it right so I'm back just before the end . But then I grew up .

your dad coming to your rescue

He'd give me the keys before it started so I don't think he ever knew that I'd sneak out

No I feel bad if I skip now. I've developed a conscience over the years haha.
